How do we process Your data? (information obligation in connection with the application of visual monitoring)

In connection with the requirements of the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (UE) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing of 95/46/WE (General Data Protection Regulation”GDPR”), please be informed as follows:

The Administrator of Your personal data in connection with the application of visual monitoring is Volkswagen Group Polska sp. z o.o. with the registered address in Poznań  (61-037), ul. Krańcowa 44, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the Regional Court for Poznań Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, VIII Economic Department of the National Court Register, under number 0000327143, NIP 782-24-63-563, REGON 301062169 (VGP);

3) Scope of data: image (recording of image from monitoring);

4) purpose and basis for processing: Your personal data will be processed or the following purpose: protection of the employees and property of VGP and maintaining confidentiality of the information which, if disclosed, could be detrimental to VGP based on a legitimate interest of VGP (art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR);

5) Data recipients: companies performing services ordered by VGP in the scope of IT and protection of persons or property;

6) Period of retention: recordings from visual monitoring shall be kept during three months from the date of recording (with the possibility of extending such date until effective termination of the proceedings carried out in virtue of the law, if such recordings constitute evidence, or if VGP acknowledges that they could constitute evidence in such proceedings);

7) Data sources: The data captured using CCTV cameras;

8) Instructions about the rights: You have the right of access to the wording of Your data and the right to correct, delete, limit the processing, make objections to processing, of such data. The rights can be exercised, without limitation, by contacting at e-mail address:;

9) Right to complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR provisionsñ

10) Right to object: At any moment you have the right to make objections against processing of Your personal data based on legitimate interest described above. We will cease processing your data for such purpose, unless we are able to prove that we have legitimate grounds with respect to such data which are superior to your interests, rights and freedom, or that such data are necessary for us to sustain, pursue or defend claims;

11)Your personal data are not subject to automated decision making, including profiling related to automated decision making.
